Privacy policy

Last updated 11 October 2026

In short: we will never sell or share your information with anyone, except where we are legally required to by a legitimate request from law enforcement. We will not market to you, try to upsell you, or contact you for any reason other than important information about the service.

This policy explains what information Accretion holds about you, why, how long it is kept and what you can do about it. Accretion is run by ZestDeck Limited ("we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales (company number 13930812; its registered office is on the Companies House register). We are the controller of your personal data under the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What we hold

The game does not use cookies. It keeps your settings (sound, layout and the like) in your own browser's local storage, and keeps your sign-in only in the page's memory. If you try the game without an account, your browser also keeps a key to your guest pilot, so that you can come back to it; it is removed when you sign up or when the pilot is deleted, a week after its trial if you do not sign up.

Why we hold it

We use your information only to run the game for you: to create and secure your account, to keep your progress, to take your subscription payments and keep your play time, to answer you when you ask for help, and to keep the service safe and working. That is the contract between us, and our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure. We do not profile you, we do not show you adverts, and we do not use your information for marketing.

Who else sees it

We never sell your information, and we never share it with anyone for their own use. A few companies run parts of the service on our behalf, under contract, and handle your information only to do that:

We will only disclose your information to anyone else where the law requires us to, in answer to a legitimate request from law enforcement or a court.

How we contact you

We only email you about the service itself: a verification or sign-in code you asked for, a change to your account, a problem with a payment, or important news about the service, such as planned downtime or a change to these terms. No newsletters, no offers, no upselling.

How long we keep it

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete your account and your information, and object to or ask us to restrict how we use it. To do any of these, or to ask a question about this policy, use the support form. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Children

You must be at least 13 to play. We ask for your date of birth to check this, keep only whether you are under 18, and do not knowingly hold information about anyone younger. Players under 18 do not receive mail from players they do not know unless they choose to.

Keeping it safe

Your connection to the game is encrypted, passwords are stored only as hashes, and access to our systems is restricted. No system is perfectly secure; our terms and conditions explain what we can and cannot be responsible for.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will tell you by email or in the game before the change takes effect. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
